You've been to a match at The Lab. You may have been in the Supporters' Section, too. But have you traveled with NMU Supporter Groups for an away match yet? If you have, some of this will be repeat information for you, but read on anyway for the details! If you have not traveled before, read this close for both basic information about away days with NMU Supporter Groups. Everyone is welcome and we hope that you have a fun experience!
GENERAL INFORMATION
The USL allows organized visiting supporters groups to purchase tickets in a specific area of the host venue where they may perform their typical types of support for their teams. When NMU Supporter Groups (Black Diamonds, Galactic Ambassadors, Delta Tau Redondo) travel, our goal is to bring the energy and passion of the Supporters' Section at The Lab to every New Mexico United away match. The away supporters' section is a place where we aim to match—or even surpass—the intensity we bring at home.
Expect many supporters to be standing while flags, banners and scarves wave and may inhibit sight lines to the field. Expect loud drums and to be called upon to participate by singing, chanting, clapping and jumping.
GETTING TO THE HOST CITY
NMU Supporters Groups (Black Diamonds, Galactic Ambassadors, Delta Tau Redondo) do not provide transportation or lodging. Traveling supporters must plan and secure their own logistics. Match-day meetups will be posted via social media.
STAY AWARE
As an away supporter, there are some things that generally remain true in every stadium. While away days are a lot of fun and most of the host fans are hospitable, be aware of your surroundings and let security know if there are any issues.
USL policy dictates the away supporters will be kept in their section up to 15 minutes after the final whistle or until assigned stadium security is available for escort, if necessary or requested.
